Expedition

Expeditions are a special action that can be taken by ships and submarines through the use of coordinate items. When the item is activated, the ship or submarine will leave the visible map and cannot receive or carry out commands. The unit will return to the sector after its expedition is complete and, if successful, will bring back one of the prototypes or items. Each set of coordinates will have a related good that will improve the chances of completing the expedition successfully. The maximum rate of success is achieved with a certain quantity of supplies dependent upon the quality of the coordinates.
