The Nordamark Border Conflict is the fourth Global Event, released with the 1.05 patch.
Following the events of the Great Stock Market Crash, both the Eden Initiative and Global Trust have been expanding in a region called Nordamark, causing an escalating conflict between the two opposing factions. The player is called upon to mediate between the two warring factions using Diplomats.
Soon after the conflict escalates E.V.E activates her emergency protocol at the player's Ark, and her hologram becomes red and blinking. She will maintain this status during the Nordamark Conflict.
By completing the missions, the player gains access to the Orca, a submarine armed with nuclear missiles.

Tips[]
- None of the islands have the truffle fertility. If you are trying to produce luxury meals, you can purchase truffles from NPCs or use the Tech faction to research truffle seeds.
- The battles north of your island are harmless to you and the flotsam dropped sometimes contains valuable or useful items. There is usually about two flotsam in the area. Get as much as you can when passing by. The items can be used for your own benefit or sold for licenses.
- Throughout all three missions, there is no requirement for Executives. Therefore, you do not need to fully satisfy your Engineers. Simply make enough Worker and Employee goods to keep the Engineer population up and you will train Diplomats.
- Lobbying for influence alone will not complete the mission, as training Diplomats is also a required objective.
- If you cannot maintain enough goods to keep your Engineers satisfied, you can demolish all Worker and Employee houses to save goods once you reach the required number of Engineers.
Bugs[]
- Prof. Dr. Salman Devi sometimes uses the subtitles of Rufus Thorne due to a bug.
- E.V.E. can sometimes stay blue, as opposed to the red version for some players.
