Vehicle Items are items that improve your ships, submarines, and aircraft when placed in the appropriate socket.
There are 4 different ratings for each item: Standard, 1*, 2* & 3*, Standard being the worst and 3* being the best.
Usable items tend to be one use only, but some 3* items can be used again after the cooldown period has elapsed.
You can acquire these items from:
- All the NPC Arks & some of the NPC Islands
- Trenchcoat
- Sending ships on Expeditions
- Completing Quests for NPCs
- Destroying certain NPC ships like Hector's.
Licenses are required to get the items from the NPCs and Trenchcoat.
These symbols can be found at the bottom left corner of the item to denote which vehicle they can be placed on:

Improves vehicle attack range.

Shields[]
Absorbs a certain amount of hit points.
Repair Drone[]
Regenerate damaged hit points on a ship.
Repairs a damaged Unit.
Combat Drone[]
Attack enemies around the ship in a certain radius when activated (some cooldown time).
Activates a Drone that automatically attacks enemies in the area.
EMP[]
Renders all Units within a certain radius unable to move or fight for a short period when activated (some cooldown time).

Allows a Unit to clean up a polluted Coast. You lose control of the Unit for the duration of the cleanup.
Hijacker[]
Allows an armed Unit to board and capture enemy Ships.
Cargo Thief[]
Note: Can be used on any vehicle belonging to an NPC you can be at war with, but you don't have to be at war with them to use this item and do not lose influence for doing so. However, every NPC ship can only be robbed once.
Allows an armed Unit to steal the Cargo from enemy Ships.
